Gruta de Lourdes:
1 km from the Plaza de Puqueldón by the road to San Agustín is a panoramic view of Puqueldón, the bay and part of Canal Lemuy.
Puchilco
In clear weather Puchilco offers good views of Isla Grande de Chiloé and adjacent islands such as Quehui, Chelin, Apiao and Chaulinec and of the volcano Michimahuida.
Camino Cortado
On the road to Detif is a narrow section where the sea lies to either side of the road and presents panoramic views. To the north are Isla Quehui and the volcano, Corcovado, and to the south the Isla Grande de Chiloé.
Cerro "La Mona"
One of the highest points of the island is 1 km from Detif in the area of Apahuén. From here almost all of Lemuy and the adjacent islands can be seen. The hill is best climbed on foot or by 4 wheel drive vehicle. |

Lakes |

Puchilco Lakes
These lakes are 8 km from Puqueldón along the road to Puchilco. As this is the water reservoir for the community, bathing is prohibited.
Laguna "Los Cuervos"
This lagoon is an important habitat for water birds, especially cormorants. As it is on private property, permission to visit should be gained from Don Oscar Ruíz (200 m from the turning to Detif and 9 km from the Plaza de Puqueldón). |

Beaches

Guiñai
On the extreme south east of the island near Detif and 20 km from Puqueldón is the longest beach on the island. It is accessible year round.
Marico
Lying on the east coast of Isla Lemuy, about 12 km from Plaza de Puqueldón by the Detif road, it is easily accessible. Boats can be hired for a trip to Quehui.
Aldachildo
Located 10 km from Plaza de Puqueldón this beach is in the community of the same name. |
