CURACO DE VELEZ AND ENVIRONS 
In the past, the people of Curaco de Velez gained their living cultivating potatoes, wheat and oats. They also raised chickens, pigs, sheep and cattle. Recent developments, especially in the areas of aquaculture and forestry, have bolstered the local economy meaning that people no longer have to move to Patagonia in search of employment. |
