 Objectives  BMCh believes that in a forest inhabited by peasants and indigenous communities with many unmet needs, neither the demands of environmental groups nor the punitive actions of the current legislation are sufficient enough to guarantee the sustainable use of the Native Forests.As a consequence, our main focus is the participation of local communities in their own development and the improvement of their quality of life while carring for their natural environment, through productive, education and research activities. To accomplish its goal, BMCh values work with women, youth and indigenous, with the understandig that they have a lot to offer when it comes to developing our communities. We focus our efforts on value-added activities an certain strategic areas such as rural development, conservation and sustainable use of natural resources, revitalisation of local culture and the search for social equity. |
